I can NOT believe I forgot to write about this THREE weeks ago. That just tells you how crazy it can be around here. Okay, so this is not the announcement noted in last blog, but I would like to share. I was released from the primary chorister three weeks ago after 3 years! I was relieved to be moving on, but a little sad too. On my last Sunday, I sang this:
"When the boys sing, when the girls sing, leaving primary makes me sad. But I will just remember your voices, and that will make me glad!" There was more to it, and it goes to the song, My Favorite Things from the Sound of Music. Anyway, it went over really well, and it was funny, and the kids thought I was silly... duh?!
So, now what? you ask... I am now an instructor in the Relief Society. They are trusting me to teach doctine every 3rd Sunday. I hope it goes well:) Actually, I am really excited to be doing this. I have never done it before, and right now in my life, I feel this is where I need to be. I am thankful for this opportunity to serve. So, if you live close by and wanna see me in action... I will be teaching in the Relief Society room this SUNDAY!
