Christmas never tasted so good

My mom, God bless her, is one of the best bread makers on the Earth. She would always make such wonderful creations in the kitchen, I love her for that. Nothing smells better than fresh baked bread, am I right? Well, she is also known for her AWESOME and AMAZING cinnamon rolls. I don't know how she does it, but they always turn our so fluffy and delicious, is should be a crime and a sin to partake. I love them, the whole family loves them and this time of year, we love them even more.
For as long as I could remember, my mom would bake cinnamon rolls at Christmas. Not your ordinary roll of a cinnamon roll, but she created a Christmas Tree cinnamon roll. AMAZING, my mouth waters just typing about them:) For the last two weeks, I have made about 4 dozen cinnamon rolls... some for us, and some for Nick to take to work! I wanted to master this recipe so bad. In the past, my bread has looked pretty, but has not tasted pretty. But, I finally did it. Practice does make perfect, and although they are still not as good as mom's, I am pleased, and so have the partakers!!!
December 18, that's today. I wanted to make a treat for some special people in our lives. I thought about making cookies, and fudge and such, but then I remembered helping my mom frost these trees, so that is what I wanted to do. I started my doubling the recipe and then just one regular batch. So yes, I tripled it, but in shifts. I did not want to overwork the dough, so this was the easiest way to avoid that. I thought my tripling the dough I could make SIX trees to deliver... WRONG... the dough made TEN! Yes, you read that right TEN! We made cinnamon TREES all day long. Delivered a few today, and still have five on the counter. We will have one for breakfast tomorrow, and I am sure my brother will take on home tomorrow night, and one more delivery. That still leaves us with TWO! They are good, but they really need to go! Enjoy the pictures, Merry Christmas and Happy Reading...

Don't forget to check back on the 31st for the BIG announcement. I think it's big anyway!
