Twas the Night Before Christmas....

Twas the night before Christmas, and in our small home, 2560 Gable Rd, the children were snoring (literally snoring) while daddy was wrapping and mommy was blogging. We wrapped and packed the sleigh the other night, and I just have to say, Nick wrapped six, Heidi 17 in the same amount of time!!!
Christmas Eve was full of yummy treats to bake and share (although, 2 of the 3 homes were empty!) Nonetheless, fudge, muddy buddies, treats, oranges and texas caviar were dropped off at homes not so visited. Christmas lights were adored by many, and the same song played for the umpteenth time on the radio station. Really? Mariah Carey AGAIN?!
Daddy read from Luke Chapter 2, and carols were sang! (The First Noel, and Away in a Manger)
Papy Murphy's made dinner, and Polar Express in Blu-Ray entertained. Mommy might have closed her eyes, might have.
I can't believe another year has gone by. I will leave all the catching up for another blog, I just wanted to wish all of our readers a very Merry Christmas. I am grateful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For his humble birth, and perfect life, he showed us the way, taught by example, and paid the ultimate price. To him, we should rejoice and sing, "Glory to God in the highest!"

It's Christmas in the Northwest and we send the warmest wishes to your family from ours! Merry Christmas!!
