Translated to: Dear Santa, What I want for Christmas. I want boots and a salon chair and an easy bake oven, and a play kitchen and a blazer jersey and a barbie and movie toy story 3 and a coloring book. Love Emmah.
They teach the kids to spell how they hear, so this is what she came up with and I love it. Nick had a hard time reading it, but it sounded right to me. I love that Blazer was already spelled correctly, because you know of course you can find that word somewhere in our house!!

Dear Santa, Dasher's Crismis
I want lego alantis portl set and lego toy story gardig get away and a new super mario bros for DS and lego star wars the clone wars tank set and magoe clone tropr glacted heoes and heoe fatry von nbalu and storm and a dice set and mario cart for DS and ten new trap bakugon and gron ups and toy story 3 movies and a nerf gun and a transforemer and a star wars transformer and a raemustero and a hot weel set and lego indiana jones 2 for DS.

Dasher's list just keeps growing and growing. He wants ALOT of legos, the movie grown ups and games for his DS. Nick reassured Dasher that Santa would have a hard time remembering, so he only a few things on his list he would actually get.
We started having small Christmas' years ago when Dasher was just a baby. Mostly because I was no longer working and we had no money, but I also wanted to instill at a young age what Christmas is all about. The birth of our Savior and helping others in need. Through the years we have made it a tradition to buy new hats, gloves, and scarves and coats (if needed) each winter season. The ones we outgrow, we donate either to goodwill, or to those in need. It is small, but a simple way my children are learning to serve others. Now, that we have four children, our Christmas' are in no way small, but the kids each get about 2-3 presents each year. That is not counting ones from cousins, and grandma and grandpas. They don't go without. Don't get me wrong, if we had tons of money, I would love to be able to buy all the things on their lists, but would they ever use half of the that stuff? No, and I know that, because right now our garage sits full of toys that don't get played with. One of these days, I will make it out there and go through them.
Christmas is not about the present received. It is a time for family, love and understanding. Jesus Christ came into this world as perfect as can be. He was born unto humble parents who taught him to do good. Sing joy to the world, because without our Savior, this place we call Earth, would not be here.
Merry Christmas ( I say Merry Christmas) and Happy Reading.
