After waiting in a really long line to get the face painted. It was totally worth it. Nick hadn't even sat down 20 seconds and he was already on the jumbo tron. AWESOME! I love the fact that he loves his team so much too!
Nick looking like a crazy pan handler at the max station. We got some pretty crazy looks before the game, and since the max broke down we waited out there in the cold for a long time. It was worth it to be standing next to this man!
November 20th, BLAZERS vs JAZZ these two teams are big rivals, and so are their fans. We scored some pretty sweet seats, courtesy of some friends. (thanks again A&K)We were seated right behind the basket, so with free throws and replays, I think we scored some tv time too! Nick's big dreams came true, because not only was he on the JUMBO TRON once, but TWICE!! Awesome. Actually, a couple more times too, due to the replays and such! He was decked out in his shirt, crazy Einstein wig, head bands, and mad face paint. I love that they do the face paint for FREE! It makes the game that much more fun for him. He is dedication whole heartedly to PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS, and over the past couple of years, so have I. I love to watch the games. Of course, they are way more fun LIVE, but if the game is on TV, we are watching it. I have come to understand the game, and rules, which makes it more enjoyable for Nick too. He doesn't have to keep "filling" me in.
Oh, I almost forgot, the night started with FREE babysitters (gma and gpa) and SEE'S chocolates. I love their candy so much, and Nick humored me by driving to the mall to get some before the game. This is huge, because Nick and I don't really like the mall, and it was Saturday night, but we treked through, got our candy and I was a happy camper. I just wish the mall was closer, but then again, it is probably a good thing for both our wallets and my waistline that it is not.
I love date nights. I love dating my husband and spending time together doing something we both love doing. (don't worry this is G rated blog) I was talking about watching the BLAZERS! I just can't wait until Joel Pryzbilla is back on the court. Until then, Happy Reading, happy Turkey day, if I don't blog before that!!!
p.s the Blazers LOST, but it didn't matter, we still had a great time!
