Four years have gone by since the horrible task of potty training took place. Our dear sweet Emmah, did it all on her own, and I can't even remember how it happened. A lot of thanks is given to my mom, for sticking her on the toilet, but we must give the little lady herself the credit she deserves. She has already matured beyond her years, and just felt like wearing "big girl" panties. I say, "Hip Hip Hooray to Emmah" So that brings me to the kid toilet again.
For some reason, our dear sweet boy, Bosston, just doesn't get it. I bought him some awesome "big Boy" underwear, his own toilet, treats for when he did go in the toilet, and alas, here I am still changing his diapers. The day will start off fine, undies on, timer set, and low and behold, as soon as he gets up from that toilet, he pees. I DON'T GET IT!!! We ask him, how come he doesn't want to wear underwear like all of his friends (who are the same age, if not younger) and he just sweetly replies, "I want diaper mom." I know he is still young, boys are usually older when it all "clicks" but come on buddy, this is just getting old. So, hopefully, by the time he does turn three, the big boy diapers will have replaced by BIG BOY UNDERWEAR!!!!!!!!

I so feel your pain. We too have been trying to get our almost 3 year old potty trained. He is the last and I can't wait for there to be NO more diapers. 10 years is enough.
Heidi I feel your pain! Zach will be 3 in two weeks and still hasn't figured it out! I am so done with changing diapers but he doesn't want to go poop-another problem entirely. I keep telling him that once he is three he needs to be a big boy and go potty in the toilet, we will see if that works.
