I think...
So, most of you know that I blog for Latter Day Woman magazine. It is fun. I have free reign to blog about whatever, and that is cool. But today, I am having an issue. The new summer edition came out, you can check it out at www.latterdaywoman.com! The cover bugs me. The gal is cute. I understand that with a yoga mat under her arm, she is probably doing some sort of workout, but she is dressed immodestly. I know call me a prude. Go ahead, say it. I think that right now as I rant about it. But it scares me. Why is she wearing that? Why can't she just be sporting a cute t-shirt. I sweat at the gym in a t-shirt. We are covenated women. We made promises. I know not all of the readers are at the point in their life, but we should be encouraging them to dress, act, and speak modestly at all times. Not justifying it by going to yoga class. I know the whole "sports" of garment wearing is up to your own judgement, but not here. Not on a magazine that is out there promoting righteous women. Oh, it pains me. AAHHAHAHAHHA call me crazy, call me prudish, call me over reacting, but I just had to get it out there. And I'm done. Don't leave though. Please continue to read, and follow as the summer begins. This is my rant. I am done. Really, I am done!!!!!

I agree. I haven't seen the cover but you can workout in a T-shirt just as well as something more revealing. For me it's just a comfort thing too. I don't want to be worrying if anything is hanging out or falling out while I working out!
I agree as well. What someone wants to wear to the gym is their business, but for the cover of a magazine for LDS women, I think it would be more appropriate to wear something more modest. But, maybe I'm more of a prude as well. How do I find the articles you have written for them? I would love to read them! marisa.johnson@gmail.com
