Viva Las Vegas

Nick and I just celebrated ten years together! 2*10*11 To rock this day, we decided to take a second honeymoon. Ten years ago, we had no money so we just spent a few weeks on the coast. It was awesome, don't get me wrong, but since we made it through TEN years, a bigger place was calling our name. We chose LAS VEGAS. We got some flack from people, but in the end, it was our choice to go, and we had a great time. I do think the sites and lights are something you should see in person. It is beautiful. The weather was perfect (sunny and high 70's) LOVED THAT!
We stayed at Circus Circus, which is just what is sounds like- a circus. The hotel was lame, but our room was gorgeous. Newly remodeled, modern furniture, awesome paint color, and a cool view. We were on the 21st floor in room 841, so our room number was 21841! I thought that was cool. The 21st floor was the top floor of this wing, which was nice. At check out time, being on top floor the elevator was empty, but as we headed down, it filled up fast and some people said they waited for over 20 minutes.
We saw all there was to see. We went to Gold and Silver Pawn (pawn stars) walked through almost all the hotels, making New York New York our favorite. We saw some interesting folks, got sunburned, ate yummy food - which if someone tells you that food is cheap in Vegas, they are lying. We rode the city bus, walked forever, and also rode the open top tour bus (well worth the money) We saw the famous Las Vegas sign, the lights from on top of the stratosphere, and ventured to Fremont Street. Vegas is a lot to take in, but if you aren't a drinker or a gambler, you only need two days. BYU was playing while we were there, and we saw A LOT of Cougar families. The time we had together was perfect. I love Nick more and more each day, and to be able to reconnect with him makes me smile. We missed the kids terribly though, and by Sunday morning, I was ready to see them. Being married to my best friend makes me so happy, and I only hope that I can share my happiness with him. I also wish everyone could have an awesome marriage like I DO!!!! a little plug for us! We took lots of pictures and I will try and put some in this post and in others, but for now, Happy Reading Readers!!!
