May 25, 2004 around 8:45 am here is a funny conversation between NICK, myself, and Dr. Ribbink
DR: "well, dad, do you want to tell her?"
NICK: " it is a girl, she is a girl!!"
ME: "what? well, then what is she going to wear to Candi's wedding?"
Okay, some might have to re read this one. You see, at 20 weeks gestation at the ever famous, find the sex of your baby ultrasound, our lovely, (more like lame) technician told us this, "well, I am saying 60% chance a boy"
thanks genius for upping our chances by 10%.
Nick and I were prepared for another boy, so we bought NOTHING. I am serious, NOTHING. We had just planned on using stuff from Dasher, so when I heard these words, "SHE IS A GIRL!" I was caught completely off guard!
Now, six years later, here she is. She's beautiful, she's gorgeous, she's a diva, through and through. Holy cow, this "woman" (that's my nick name for her, and Lucy is lady) is just fabulous. I love that she is fiesty, caring, loving, funny, and moody all rolled into one! She is so much like me, so says my parents. And sometimes, I watch and listen and she is just like me now. She is a nurturing soul. She is responsible. She is Emmah with an "H" It is fun having girls, and even more fun, when they are spitting images and personalities of yourself. I love her. She is creative and artistic. She is clever and cunning. She is our Lou Lou!!!
