Hells Gate State Park

June 14-19 the Durants had their bi-annual family reuinion. This time it was Nick and my turn to put the whole thing on. I am talking about everything, from reservations, food, and entertainment. It was a lot of hard work, just ask Nick-- oh wait, he would tell you it was easy, because his wife, ME, did it all. That man helped just like a rock would help, he only got in the way. That really is how I wanted it though. I am one of those people that just likes to take control; I know what I want, and how I want it, so leave me alone and just let me do it.
98% of the Durants were present. Holly, just got a new job, and couldn't get the time off, Conner and Kyleigh live with their mom, and she wouldn't let them come, long story... and Sadie and Preston live with Heavenly Father. We miss them. We did, however, have the best new addition to our ever growing family. Ryder Paul Taggart, only three weeks old, came camping with us. Candi and Andrew just adopted this sweet baby on May 25th. We love him so. The food was great, although, we still need some practice on Dutch oven cooking:), we went to a pottery museum and made some pottery, saw the most LAME indian museum, got rained on, froze, and then got sunburned at this great water park in Washington. Thanks to Joy, and Christmas, I was also able to walk 18 miles altogeher... that was at 6am on vacation, so I would say that is great dedication to my cause:) I am thankful to have such a great family of my own, and to have married into such a great family. Nick, if you didn't already know, has FIVE sisters and I get along great with all of them. That can take some talent. We get loud, we have a great time, and we look forward to each and every moment we get to spend together. Don't let me forget to tell you that Nick's parents have 21 grandchildren, most of them under the age of 9. How crazy is that?
