Black Knight 2010!! Who would've thought that dollar store pieces would bring such a kick to our halloween!
Emmah started the month out with wanting to be a Rodeo Princess, hence the glittered flower on her hat; but when daddy said he would buy her some guns, she quickly changed her mind to just a a cowgirl. I must say, for not buying any actual costumes, accessories alone added up quickly. Our dress up suitcase in now overflowing.
Sheriff Bosston was ready to save the night from anyone trying to take his candy. He only changed his mind four different times and finally decided to be a Sheriff.
Lucy made her first trick or treat debut as a fairy princess! She was ready to pose for the camera and get treats all night long!!!!
So, for Halloween being on Sunday this year, our kids scored. NO, we did NOT trick or treat on Sunday, but with the trunk or treat the night before, and a Halloween dinner at grandma's house, we have enough candy to share. PLEASE come over and take some!!! It rained, and rained some more all weekend long. Soccer games were cold, muddy and wet. Luckily, we only have one more for Emmah and two more for Dasher. I am so happy the season is finally coming to an end. The kids' have enjoyed themselves, but Emmah has decided not to play next year, and instead she wants to enroll in the YOUNG REMBRANDTS art classes. She wanted to do that this year, but we found out about too late. She is our artists, and we will support her. Dasher on the other hand wishes SOCCER season never ended. He could play and play. We've thought about doing indoor, but there is nowhere close to play, so we will just continue to play with him in the off season. His team won their first game on Saturday... 10-1. It was a great day to be on our team, and the players are really learing. I was telling Nick, that their team is the only team that is actually playing positions instead of a group of kids chasing a ball. YAY for them.
Holidays are coming up, and I love this time of year. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas!! Nick and I get into it, and we were already planning when to do the outside lights, when to get the tree, and we have already purchased one new nativity, I have plans to purchase one more this week, and my dear friend Toshia gave me some really cute Christmas blocks!!! She rocks and I will plug her right now on my blog! www.vinyldesignsbytoshia.blogspot.com
I have been riding the bike more and more, rain or shine! I finished the Hunger Game books, awhile ago, but I couldn't remember if I blogged about that. Just finished GOOSE GIRL, and I have decided to revisit the Harry Potter books!
Oh yeah, Dasher's cub scout gear cost us $73. Crazy!
Until next time, Happy Reading.
