Spring Break

well, we did have the best weather of the year, just not super warm. here we are riding bikes!
Aubrey's tribute to the Little Mermaid. Instead of sea shells, she is sporting and promoting yoga.

The tunnel to the other side of the mountain!

Bosston building sand castles!

Mark, Alicia, Kathrine, and Addison!

The Durants!
The Oregon Coast is beautiful!

No words really needed. The scenery really speaks for itself!

Inside the Cheese Factory. Now, who doesn't LOVE Tillamook Cheese?

Grandkids posing with the Cheesse Cow! Lucy is kind of hidden, but she's there.

The Lighthouse at Cape Mears. Some morons thought they were funny when they vandalized a 123 year old light house that was STILL WORKING. Now, it will never be the same, because the glass was irreplaceable, along with the light inside. Some people just don't have a clue....

Tyler was the one missing, other than that, here we all are at the Cheese Factory.

Samson, the T Rex on display at OMSI.

Emmah, I just love you.

All seven of them. It would be fitting if this is all we get. We always called ourselves the SEVEN WEEKS, because there were seven of us, and our last name was/is Weeks. Now, we have SEVEN grandkids, (go me with four) so it still fits for the next generation. Anyway, they make my parents really proud. I would also love to have the first grandchild and the last too, but pretty sure there might be a few more! Mark and Alicia, and Aubrey and Tyler better get on that:)

Spring Break was here a few weeks ago, and although we did not feel much spring like weather, we had a great time with my family. I love when people come to town, but it is always a great day when your mom and dad come to spend time with us! Wyoming is oh so far away, and it breaks my heart each and everytime we find ourselves saying good bye. Soon, someday soon, it will just be, "see you in a little bit" rather than good bye. We do have plans to spend time with them in June, but after that, we won't see them until October when Dasher is baptized. Man, that sounds crazy to think that I have a child old enough to be baptized. Okay, sorry this was to be about spring break.
(I just ordered two new CDs from Deseret Book, one entitled, Praise to the Man, and the other Reflections of Christ. Right now, I am listening to Praise to the Man, and it is awesome. I love piano music, and then some with vocals. Very relaxing.....)
So, my family got here the first Sunday of spring break. We never have anything official planned for when they are here, which is both good and bad, but we just go with it. We went to some new parks, (for my family) OMSI, the beach( super fun) and just spent time together. Nick and my dad were able to start the backyard. Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not on our side with this, and it has rained EVERY single day since they left. Now we just have a big mud pit in the backyard. NOT COOL. Anyway, pics are above, with captions. I just love spending time with my family. They are so important to me, and each day that we are apart, I feel that much closer to them. I know it sounds weird, but we have so much to look forward to, that this is just a moment in time. Thanks again for reading my rants......
