Congrats to Emmah

One last one, with the biggest smile!

A few days ago, we got a "letter" from the school, regarding Emmah. I really had no worries, but with anxious curiousity, I opened the letter to find that Emmah was being recognized at the school assembly. So, on Wednesday, our anniversary, we got a great present. Emmah received an award for good citizenship. Nothing can make a parent prouder, than when other people see the good in their children. It was a great day, because Nick already had the day off, and Candi, Nick's sister came, along with Grandma Durant. We are all so proud of Emmah!!!

When I called my parents to tell them about the award, my mom was happy, but not surprised. She said, "She is just like here mama." I remember getting awards in school, and so do my parents. I jokingly told my mom, that I should have never sit down at award assemblies, because everytime I do, they call my name again.... So here's to Emmah " Never sit, you'll just have to get right back up!"

p.s it was great encouragement to Dasher too, to go the extra mile to get noticed!
