It is funny how a certain day of the year, makes you reflect on what you are thankful for. Sometimes, when I am having an "off" day, I like to "count my blessings," so I will just share a few with them with you.
Of course, I would not be the person I am today without Nick. I am so thankful for him and all he does for our family. He is an amazing man, with many talents, one of them being patience. He has helped me become a better and happier, wife, mom, and person. I thank him for that.
Each of my children have such great qualities, I have to be thankful for "different strokes." Dasher is loving every minute of life, if it's school, church, or sports. He is great helper, and loves to make people happy. Emmah, is my awesome daughter. I am thankful for her health, and her willingness to always try new things. She is going to make a great mom herself, and I am thankful that she has the patience to wait to grow up. Bosston has caused quite the chaos for our family this year. He went from scooting, to running, and is now saying a few words. I am thankful for childhood. To see new things from our childrens' eyes is great.
Again, I am glad I have our home. We have put some TLC into it, and I love that it is starting to pay off. A huge sacrifice is becoming such a huge blessing.
Last but not least, I am thankful for motherhood. It seems that lately, I have dwelt on this topic, but I feel so strongly about it, I want to shout it from the rooftops. Nick and I have the power to bring lives into this world. With baby number four on the way, it is just a blessing to know that our Father in Heaven has entrusted us with this gift. It is not something to be taken lightly, and I am so glad, that I can call myself MOM. The best name in the world. Of course, there are days when I want to change my name, but never my role.
So here is to my "thanks" for 2008. Coming up, Christmas in the Northwest, and lots of holiday cheer. Thank you for reading.

Quick family update
Emmah is doing fine. We haven't heard back from the neurologist, so as the saying goes, "No news is good news." She is looking forward to the holiday season and her "list" is getting longer and longer each new day. I am proud of our sunbeam. She has her part for the program memorized. Our primary program is late this year, bc of conferences and vacation schedules. We "perform" next Sunday. She is starting to write more than her name, and she is learning new things each day. She wants to go to school, so hopefully the rest of the school year will go by quickly, so it will be her turn. She has outgrown baby dolls, and is in to more of the girl scene. This doesn't surprise me at all, I was always that way too. She is four going on twelve.
Bosston keeps us busy, way too busy. He gets to go into nursery at the end of this month. Yes!! Hopefully he will go willing and we won't hear him scream:) He loves ELMO, dinosaurs, books, and just about any toy that his brother and sister are willing to let him play with. He is starting to say a few more words, but is just always ready and willing to voice his voice. All parents know what I mean. We love him and feel our family would be lost without him.
Nick and I are just the same. Work, callings, and family keep us going. The pregnancy is progressing fine. I always lose weight in the beginning, so yay! Don't get jealous, it always comes back in the end. I am not so sick all the time. I do find some mornings are harder than others, but life will go on. Young Mens keeps Nick busy and gone a lot. Meetings, activities, dances, firesides, yeah, it all comes tumbling down each and every month. We are thankful for this calling though, it has blessed our family.
The Durants are really looking forward to a great week next week. My family is coming from Wyoming, and we are so excited to see them. It has been a long time and we are ready to have some fun. That is it for now. Until next time.......

Election Day
Hip Hip Hooray. Election day is over. Now we can get back to normal, and all the signs can come down, all the commericials can end, and we can stop arguing with our neighbor. What a crazy night it was. The election was not as close as they predicted.
Although the outcome was not what I wanted, Nick said he will support him just like he supported our last presidents. Being his wife, I will do the same. America needs to be happy!!
So, that is it for today. I am glad it is over, and here's to four years.

Happy Day after Halloween
Halloween has come and gone, I say, "hip hip hooray." I was really not into the holiday this year, too much else going on. We didn't even carve a pumpkin, I know bah humbugs we were. Anyway, Emmah's EEG results are still being reviewed, so no news there.
We did have a fun night though. Dasher didn't have school, so it made the day a little long, but he managed to contain himself until it was time to go trunk or treating. We don't really live in a "neighborhood" so the church parking lot works great for us. The kids did ask this year when they will get to go house to house and not car to car. I tell them next year. We'll see:)
Dasher was a Sheriff/ cowboy. Emmah was Sharpay, and Bosston was a skeleton. Nick was a blazed out Blazer fan. Same idea, just different approach each year. We went to the church where they had a carnival, and then the trunk or treat. We were home by 7:30 which was even better for mom. I started the book, Twilight and was able to finish when we got home. It is a good book. That was our halloween. Dasher had another game today. One more and we are finished. He scored four goals today, but at his Tuesday game he scored, and yes, he really out ran and scored 13 goals. It is crazy. We have lost count for the season. He really loves it, but we are really wanting our Saturdays back. Enjoy the pics of Halloween.
